Rick(Ricky Aaahbaaaah!) was a guy with the driest humor-he would size up the situation and come up with a stunner. Rick was very intelligent and a great point guard for our "Stud" basketball team. He was also a good baseball player and made a strong contributionto our 1962 State Legion Champion Dugdale's team. He is truly missed.
So soory to hear of Rick's passing. He was one of the group of guys that I hung out with. When I needed a ride, Rick was there. He even bought my '59 Bug when I needed to sell it.
We had good times through sports and riding out to Kings resturant on 72nd street or the hamberger place on Saddle Creek with Rick and his cusin John Casey(transfered from North High). He did stop by one time when had moved back to Omaha from the West Coast, and I moved back to Omaha from St.Louis.
He certainly was part of the good times at BHS and UNO.
